Thank you Shirley Washington on FOX2! There is good news on the horizon with the clean up along Coldwater Creek! The Corps is planning on expanding their clean up area to 750 more acres and 600 more properties. As mentioned in this segment- we just need them to go back and make those clean up levels more protective and down to where they were when DOE was cleaning up the area in the 1990’s! This would allow full use of the land and area after clean up! – Just Moms STL

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers is reviewing cleanup efforts to remove nuclear waste from Coldwater Creek in north St. Louis County.

Environmental advocates have been fighting for nearly 80 years to clean up the creek.
